Bird Baths

Birds are naturally attracted to bird baths all year round. In Winter, they use a birdbath as a safe haven to rest upon away from predators and to use the water to wash their feathers ensuring that they are kept in peak condition. Ice should be cleared away and the water replenished regularly and a bird bath needs to be positioned where the birds can easily view a predator approaching. In Summer, birds use a bird bath for a much needed drink but also to splash around in to cool down.
