Raised bed gardening is very popular, especially for growing vegetables, and they look great in the garden. The soil drains better and warms more quickly, there is less bending down, weeding and cultivation are easier, the soil is never walked on and compacted and permanent paths can be laid between beds.
One of the unique benefits of this raised bed kit is its compatibility with our Garden Cold Frame which can be placed directly onto the wooden raised bed. It is made from sustainably sourced timber which complies with RHS timber policies, and is pressure treated for a long life. The boards are pre-cut, pre-drilled, and sanded. In the 8' x 4' (2.3m x 1.2m) wooden raised bed kit, there are three tiers and the actual planed board size is 27mm x 116mm. It's supplied in kit form with stainless steel fittings, and instructions.
