Normally seen in Australian scrubland these pretty winter flowering shrubs are surprisingly hardy. They will take temperatures down to -5C so are a great plant to add a bit of colour to a sheltered winter garden.
We're excited to have the first of our new season Acacias arrive this week. We expect them to be very much as pictured, strong plants with plenty of buds and cheerful yellow flowers. They are probably best kept and enjoyed in a pot this Spring, but they can eventually be planted out in southern areas of the UK and will bloom in February/March each year.
