Here is a lovely Print of fishing boats unloading the catch with a view across the Bay to Antibes. Our early 20th Century watercolour scene can de compared to a modern day perspective shown here as well.
Jan Daum who exhibited at the Royal Academy painted this scene of the French Riviera during one of his visits in the 1920’s.His speciality was the use of conté drawing to complement the watercolours giving a sharp definition to the subject matter whilst the pastel theme is pleasing to the eye.
This Fine Art Print has been digitally copied from the original painting which is in our own Collection and is exclusive to ourselves.
