Product Description
Jan Daum who exhibited at the Royal Academy painted this scene of the French Riviera during one of his visits there in the 1920’s. His speciality was the use of conté drawing to complement the watercolours giving a sharp definition to the subject matter whilst the pastel theme is pleasing to the eye. In many ways his style reflects a simpler version of the well know Fauvist painter Raoul Dufy.
