Product Description
The Italian bitter orange behind Campari.
Chinotto (Citrus myrtifolia) is an unusual and very ornamental citrus. It has small, myrtle-like leaves, a thornless habit and clusters of sour orange fruit that hang on the tree for months. It is one of the hardier orange varieties and copes with brief dips to around 0°C, so it suits a sheltered patio in summer and a bright, cool room or conservatory in winter.
The fruit is too sharp to eat fresh but is excellent for marmalade, candied peel and cocktails. It makes a lovely gift for citrus collectors and anyone who enjoys growing something a little different.
Delivered gift wrapped with full care instructions.
