Product Description

Premium antique-look Staunton chess set in silver and gold metal, on a luxurious walnut and oak board. Presented in a Manopoulos gift box.

Named after Howard Staunton, one of the finest players of his day, the Staunton design is the classic chess set. The knight is a beautifully carved horse’s head, inspired by a sculpture on the east pediment of the Parthenon. Made by Manopoulos, the Greek games maker producing fine board games since 1970.
