The Mobile City Growhouse is our popular City Growhouse fitted to a wheeled base, so it can be moved around the patio or balcony to follow the sun or tucked into a sheltered corner in bad weather. The timber base moves with the growhouse and adds weight low down for stability.
The sliding doors give infinitely variable ventilation and the roof panels slide open for summer airflow.
Aluminium structure with stainless steel fixings. The 4mm toughened safety glass provides excellent light transmission, traps early spring heat much better than plastic and will not go milky with age.
One narrow and one deep seed tray shelf can be adjusted for height, removed or dropped flat in summer. The toughened glass centre staging lets light down to the lower level and is rated to 25kg per sheet – one or both sheets can be removed for taller summer crops.
The mist watering system waters both levels through fine nozzles suitable for delicate seedlings, and connects with a standard hose fitting.
The growhouse should only be moved by responsible adults. Self-assembly with comprehensive instructions.
